Housed in a Victorian industrial building in Shoreditch, The Boundary comprises a 17-bedroom boutique hotel, a roof garden with bar and grill, fine dining restaurant as well as a caff and food store.
Left unoccupied for many years, parts of the building’s structure had become slightly dilapidated; the original 1893 configuration, however, had barely changed since its original inception. Located on the edge of conservation area in an area rich in history, the building is sited at the end of a block, with a street frontage on three sides.
We have demolished the existing mansard and constructed two new floors housing duplex bedrooms with double height living space and be-deck above, clad in pre-patinated green copper and timber brise soleil.
