A sensitive conversion of a former mews warehouse provides a studio for designer Jasper Conran. The site, located in a conservation area, is bounded on three sides by residential properties and has only 10-metres of street frontage. As the site is sandwiched between the back gardens of two rows of Victorian terraces, the existing building had to be retained. To generate a sense of light and space, large glazed openings were added to the street façade and to the roof.
