Residence D is an 18-storey serviced apartment building adjacent to the two tower Residences B & C. Externally, a similar palette of materials is employed, with the addition of green patinated copper, used on the street-level entrance canopy and on the tapering rooftop drum that conceals the plant room. Unlike Residences B & C, where the corners of the buildings are recessed to emphasize the vertical, here the limestone is pulled forward to express the corners more strongly. The undulating roof garden enhances the views from the much taller buildings that surround it.

Inside, the serviced studio apartments have a series of open-plan spaces arranged around a free-standing serviced ‘pod’. Three different design concepts – Spiritualist, Hedonist and Humanist – were applied to the basic plan (see Interiors).
