On 12th April, Conran & Partners were granted planning permission for their Earlsfield scheme. Situated at the southern end of King Georges Park in Wandsworth, Earlsfield comprises 195 new residential units in two buildings over 4/5 levels . A natural riverside park and footpath will follow the banks of the Wandle creating habitat for wildlife and improved access to the river for the local community. A parkside cafe and the provision of a new playground in the park are catalysts for its rejuvenation.

Two new buildings are proposed. Made of red brick, the southern building is 3 to 4 storeys high, comprising 52 affordable units. The northern building is 4 to 5 storeys high, with underground parking. It is constructed using lime coloured stock brick with natural concrete balconies. A feature corner element above the cafe acknowledges the parkside location and acts as a focal point within the park.
