This low-rise housing project is located in a central residential area of Tokyo.The building is conceived as three elements, layered one in front of the other: a curved patinated copper shield containing bedrooms, a limestoneclad box holding the kitchens and vertical circulation, and a steel and timber box for the main living spaces. The design for the 26 apartments uses a palette of natural materials, including painted plaster and oak flooring. One unit is fully fitted out and furnished as the show apartment.
