Originally designed by Conran & Partners in 1989, the Blueprint Café was refurbished in 1997 with the creation of a new glazed terrace. This extension responds to the simple modernist language of the Design Museum, adding another layer of activity to the façade. The sliding doors open in summer to create a sense of ‘alfresco’ dining.
