For three years Conran and Partners have been helping client Mauro Ziveri to develop his “slow food” businesses in Italy. Following the success of Parma’s “Rosa dell’ Angelo Prosciutto Bar” we went on to help with the branding for his new company, “Cipressi in Chainti”, including the conversion of an existing garage in the village of Radda in Chianti into a small meat slicing and packaging facility.
Demand for these high quality ham and salami products has grown to such an extent that Cipressi in Chianti is expanding. Mauro has bought a piece of land outside the Tuscan village, on a hillside with other factories, and Conran & Partners have designed a new headquarters building for the site. The scheme, using local stone, glass timber and painted render, will shortly be submitted for planning permission.
