Paternoster Chop House uses traditional cooking techniques of slow and spit roasting, braising and stewing. Beast and Fish of the day are popular choices and customers can select from rare breed forty month Galloway beef and rod caught fish from the South West coast.
Complementing the menu the extensive wine list offers over 150 wines and a range of English beers and ciders. Light seasonal savoury dishes are available at Paternoster's classic marble bar to be enjoyed with drinks or taken into the courtyard.
Aside from the 130 seat restaurant, Paternoster Chop House can also cater for private dining functions in the historic Temple Bar. Reputedly designed by Sir Christopher Wren, Temple Bar is a unique structure that marked the gateway to the City of London for two hundred years and is now a very special venue for receptions and business meetings. Steeped in history this beautiful upper dining chamber is an ideal venue to entertain you and your guests.
