Conran & Partners were asked by ING Real Estate and W Hotels to redesign the lobby, reception and atrium areas in their office development at 25 Copthall Avenue. Whilst the building enjoys prominent frontage onto London Wall, its entrance on Copthall Avenue is virtually hidden. The main aim of the project was to make the entrance more visible and the reception and atrium more welcoming.

Large light boxes have been installed within the ceiling in front of the entrance, to illuminate the ground floor elevation, and a video art-installation created immediately inside the lobby. A large undulating perspex screen wraps around the lower level of the atrium, framing the seating area, and coloured furniture adds richness to the formerly sterile space.
