Conran & Partners designed the interiors for a family of restaurants in a converted nineteenth century concert hall in Stockholm beside Berzelii Park. Working with the building's ornate features, some contemporary additions were also made. For instance a new glass structure was added to the park elevation to provide an entrance, vertical access and viewing point for the restaurants, terrace and concert facilities. Curved sheets of glass enclose a stainless steel and Jura limestone staircase, which in turn wraps around a lift core, giving access to the restaurant and bar at veranda level and roof top terrace. At night the glazed structure glows, revealing the activity inside.
