Located in a shopping mall in Parma, Italy, Rosa dell’Angelo is a shop and bar selling the best quality Parma ham, bread, fruit, cheese and prosecco. The design uses a simple palette of materials including dark grey tiles, white walls, stainless steel and thick-cut pine – the last referring to the traditional wooden rails used for hanging the proscuitto. Central to the design is a glass fronted laboratorio, in which shanks of curing ham are displayed before being freshly sliced and served from ultra hygienic, stainless steel counters.

The visual identity, also designed by Conran & Partners, was inspired by the original Rosa dell’Angelo branding, refreshed for a more contemporary environment.
