Nissan's Micra C+C Conran is a concept car developed by Conran & Partners in collaboration with Nissan's European Design studios, the original designers of the Micra C+C. The car is designed to appeal primarily to female customers and to those who want a more stylish & sophisticated air to their vehicle without losing the contemporary feel and value associated with the standard Micra C+C.
The inspiration has come from natural forms and traditional Japanese colours and lacquer-ware which, is evident in the exterior finishes of the car - Blushing Black paintwork accented with red reflections and a subtle inset laquer leaf pattern gracing the boot lid and deep red leather upholstery. The interior featured a special dashboard and display which reacted to reflected light
In addition to the finishes there were many custom components and features including an iPod docking drawer in place of the ashtray, modified head restraints and bodywork.
The car was launched at the London Motor Show 2006 and was on display in the Conran Shop on Fulham Road in Chelsea until October 2006.
