News from Conran & Partners Brighton Studio!
The Brighton architects at Conran and Partners have been really busy recently, and in a tough economic climate it’s great to have some good news. We recently achieved planning approval from Brighton & Hove City Council for our highly sustainable new office proposals for the former Astoria Cinema site in Gloucester Place. Brighton’s greenest-ever office building!
Our architects are also working on what we think will be the finest house in Brighton (well, Hove actually) down on the seafront at Western Esplanade. Go and see it at the western end of the seafront – it’s going up now. Our scheme for apartments and a GP surgery on Portland Road, Hove will be starting on site soon, and we are looking at some exciting new projects in the centre of Brighton, including an apart-hotel in Queen Square, on the former ice rink site.
As architects, we also feel we should engage with city-wide issues, and are talking at the Brighton Chamber of Commerce event on the city’s development potential at the end of the month. We also continue to support young students from local Brighton and Hove schools to help and encourage their interest in becoming architects.
We also run national and international projects from our architecture studio in Queens Road, Brighton, including large housing projects in London for some great clients.
