Planning permission granted for Royal Pier Hotel Site

CNM Estates achieved a unanimous vote at last nights planning committee in favour of their proposals for the Royal Pier Hotel, Weston Super Mare.

Designed by Sir Terence Conran’s architects, Conran & Partners, the scheme is 7 storeys at its maximum height and contains 63 spacious apartments with full concierge service and a stylish restaurant and bar. The scheme includes a new Captain’s Cabin bar, a restaurant with a large outdoor terrace, underground car parking and new shops and cafes on the promenade level. There is also a space dedicated to a lifeboat museum and visitor centre. The scheme also has an upper level promenade deck with 21st century beach huts built in to the wall, with stunning views across the water.
