Tim joined Conran & Partners in 1997 and became Managing Director in 2010. He is a registered Architect with a wealth of experience spanning the sectors, in both new build and regeneration projects and across the globe. As MD he leads on all design and is responsible for finance and operations across all areas of the business.
In his early years with Conran & Partners, much of Tim’s work was in the hospitality sector, overseeing all of our work for Conran Restaurants (now D&D London), including design and implementation of the restaurants and bars at the Royal Exchange, the Paternoster Chop House and Floridita in Soho. He was responsible for the design of myhotel in Bloomsbury and the later development of its penthouse suite ‘myplace’.
Tim went on to manage our portfolio of work for City Loft Developments, a residential developer who we partnered for over ten years, designing a number of large-scale tall residential buildings across the UK. These include award-winning developments in Salford, Manchester, Newcastle, Reading, Harrogate, Leeds, Liverpool, Brighton and London. The last of these buildings, St Pauls in Sheffield, is currently on site and nearing completion.
Tim’s recent projects include a series of proposed redevelopments of listed buildings in Dorchester, for hotel, retail, theatre and residential uses. These are currently on site. He is also responsible for the Boundary Project, our latest hotel and restaurant venture in Shoreditch, London.
