Mori Building CompanyTokyo, 2000
This low-rise housing project consisting of 26 apartments is located in a central residential area of Tokyo. The building is conceived as three elements, layered one in front of the other: a curved patinated copper shield containing bedrooms,
a limestone-clad box holding the kitchens and vertical circulation, and a steel and timber box for the main living spaces.
