Grosvenor Buildings

Conran & Partners first project for City Lofts was the residential conversion of a range of elegant nineteenth century buildings. The listed buildings were semi-derelict, containing a range of low-grade retail office and storage uses. The main street elevation was carefully restored,

the only outward sign of the new use being a series of barely visible terraces cut into the roof behind the parapet. To the rear, access to the 32 apartments is via a mews and three new stair-cores.
