Mandarin Grill and Bar

The Mandarin Grill at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is one of the most venerable and prestigious restaurants in Hong Kong. The challenge was to update the space without losing the character and essence of a “power dining room”. The finishes are therefore simple and classic. Walls are lined with black walnut and

leather panelling, while the ceiling has been designed as an array of overlapping white fans. The windows are dressed with white roman blinds and grey silk curtains and the original Pullman style armchairs have been restored with new loose covers, which change colour with each season.
