Brewery Square

The regeneration of the historic 11.3 acre Eldridge Pope Brewery site will create a new urban quarter in the heart of Dorchester. The centrepiece of the scheme is the conversion of the existing Grade 2 listed brewhouse into a four star Victorian hotel. The hotel will face onto Brewery Square, a new landscaped civic open

space surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. Other planned features of the scheme include: over 500 new apartments and homes on eight new public streets, a medical centre with accommodation for student nurses, and a community arts and conference centre, creating a new cultural and commercial hub within the town.
